Northern electric 317 wood wall phone
Dates from about 1913. This phone features a classic picture frame front. we have upgraded the phone with a new transmitter and modern network to facilitate connection to the phone line. the internal wiring has been updated so the original bells will ring with incoming calls. alternatively, the hand cranked magneto can be used to ring the bells just like days of old. although this phone does not contain a dial and is therefore useful primarily as an extension, we do have modern tone dialers available at an added cost that will allow this phone to make outgoing calls.
