Summit Strap Hinge - medium - close
These forged iron straps can be mortised into a door jamb, or surface mounted on the trim or frame surrounding the door. The usual rule of thumb is that a strap hinge should reach about 2/3  of the way across the door. These hinges are for interior doors of normal weight. If your door is thicker than 1.25" or exceptionally heavy please call for other choices. Approximately 24" long, 1.5" wide, and 3/16" thick. Each hinge is drawn out in the traditional way and rolled around a 1/4" diameter pin. The butt plate is 3" tall and 2.25" wide (including the barrel)
